I direct and edit documentaries as a way of exploring the world, the communities around me, and my own place within them. My works are grounded in character, emotion, and the complexities of everyday life. Across diverse subjects and stories, I seek to create intimate, nuanced portraits that invite audiences to look beyond assumptions and connect with the people at the heart of each film.
Where Home Waits
For undocumented immigrant Orfe, reuniting with her roots in Peru means parting from the cherished family she has built in the US, which path will she choose? The decision becomes more urgent each day as she ages. As her family members, the filmmakers documented her search for belonging—a story they hope to preserve for her grandchildren and generations to come.
